Vida 2015A is not just a code reader, it has a full parts catalog, troubleshooting (where there is guidance on the likely cause and solution for a fault), live data, it can perform calibrations, activate service modes, it has specifications (both mechanical and electrical), removal and replacement procedures and is often bundled with the electronic wiring diagrams and more items that I have not mentioned. Not only that when you look at live data, you can get a description of the data and (often) the expected values ... "what is normal". Popular applications are of course forcing DPF changes or deactivation, gearbox adjustments or resetting the oil meter.
Many Volvo fault codes send people on an expensive goose chase because they don't have the context that goes with the code. This is very popular for MAF fault codes.
