MangoPi MQ-Pro D1 Demo Board RISC-V SBC
1GB RAM
WiFi/BT Mango Pi
New
MangoPi MQ Pro is an Allwinner D1 RISC-V SBC that provides an alternative to the Raspberry Pi Zero W with the same form factor and most of the same features, including WiFi/BT and DSI.
Specifications:
SoC – Allwinner D1 C906 RISC-V processor @ up to 1GHz with G2D 2D graphics accelerator
System memory –1 GB(1) DDR3(L)
Storage – MicroSD card slot
Display – mini HDMI 1.4 port up to 1080p60 or 4Kp30, 20-pin MIPI DSI, CTP, LVDS FPC connector
Camera I/F – 24-pin DVP/RGMII connector
Audio – Audio output pads
Networking
2.4 Ghz 802.11b/g/n WiFi 4 and Bluetooth 4.2 via RTL8723DS module + u.FL antenna connector
Ethernet via expansion card connected to 24-pin DVP/RGMII connector
USB – 1x USB OTG Type-C port, 1x USB host Type-C port
Expansion – 40-pin Raspberry Pi compatible GPIO header
Power – 5V via USB Type-C port or 40-pin GPIO header
Dimensions – 65 x 30 mm
Operating system:
Tina Linux (kernel 5.4)
Debian (kernel 5.4) Coming soon
RVboards Debian
Version
V1.0, 05.01.2022, first release, green PCB (mini-HDMI error)
V1.1, 17.01.2022, HDMI repaired, green circuit board
V1.2, 2022.02.04, small batch, red circuit board
V1.3, 2022-04-15, small batch, pink circuit board
V1.4, 27.06.2022, mass production, pink PCB, hole-filled resin, antenna trace optimization
Other TIPS:
Due to market supply reasons, the 1GIB DDR3L particles soldered to the MQ-PRO are old materials to test properly.
The board cannot handle all possible workloads on the Raspberry Pi Zero W, because the Allwinner D1 SoC does not have a 3D GPU. There's a 4K-capable H.265/H.264 video processing unit, and the HDMI port supports 4Kp30 output, but most video player or media center programs probably won't support this. The board should work best for headless applications, or for HDMI applications with a simple 2D user interface.
Package:
MQ-Pro V1.4 x 1
GPIO header color x 1
